Project Overview
Paidia epi Skinis is a workshop of expression, learning and action in Peristeri, Attica, running continuously since 2000. It serves children from age 2, teenagers and adults, with annual classes, standalone emotional-intelligence workshops, Arts School preparation and programmes delivered inside schools.
The previous site was an outdated Joomla installation with expired content, no social proof and no path to enrolment. Twenty-six years of work were nowhere to be seen.
The Goal
The reader of this site is one specific person: a parent, in the evening, on a phone, often inside the Facebook in-app browser. They are not looking for acting lessons. They are looking for a place their child will be happy to return to.
The main goals were:
- the parent understanding within ten seconds which route concerns them,
- their biggest objection answered, that their child is shy,
- what the child actually gains made visible, not what is taught,
- every page showing Greek text in social link previews,
- seasonal dates changed from a single place, so the site can never again show three different school years,
- and personal data, children's ages included, kept on the client's own hosting.
What We Built
We built a website with the aesthetic of a stage: a curtain palette of deep burgundy and cream paper, serif headings with character, and the client's own photographs throughout, no stock imagery. Every page is emitted as finished static HTML at build time, so the Facebook scraper reads Greek text rather than an empty div.
The website includes:
- a homepage naming all three audiences, children 2 to 12, teenagers, adults,
- two self-selection menus, «Children» and «Adults», each option carrying its age line,
- a children's workshops page with a sticky sub-navigation and all twelve emotional-intelligence programmes as cards,
- an adults page with the seminars and the artistic director's biography,
- a page for school and parents' association programmes, with its own B2B framing,
- pages for parties and camps,
- a three-field form with captcha-free spam protection, beside Viber and click-to-call,
- and 301 redirects from every old Joomla URL, so 26 years of SEO equity survive.
Key Features
Every item below, on the real screen it lives on.

- 01
The parent picks a route before reading
The «Children» and «Adults» menus are not navigation, they are the primary self-selection device. Each option carries its own age line, so the parent recognises their child before they even click.

Twelve programmes, one page
«The Circle of Emotions» is presented as a filterable card grid with a detail dialog per programme, rather than twelve separate pages nobody would read. The sticky sub-navigation always shows which section you are in.

The biggest objection, answered head-on
«My child is shy. Will they manage?» The question that holds parents back is not buried in an FAQ; it has its own section with its own answer, and the free trial lesson sits right beside it.

Built for the parent's phone
Two thirds of the traffic arrives from social apps. The homepage opens on mobile with the headline, the promise and «Free trial lesson» above the fold, with the phone number and Viber permanently within reach.

Project Outcome
The website translates twenty-six years of work into something a parent grasps in one scroll. It opens from a Facebook post and shows Greek text, not a blank page. It shows what the child gains, answers the objection they would never say out loud, and leaves exactly one next step: a free introductory lesson.
